Habitat…birds, birds, birds..

A daily visit from a curious Scarlet Robin! He and his lady friend have been relaxing on a diet of spiders and blow flies collected each day from under the verandah.

Their constant visits have tweaked my interest in the vast array of birds that call our trees home.

Each new painting in this Habitat series, places a bird into a painterly context that reflects a small aspect of the birds world and of our shared environment.
